At WINDRIFT, we stand behind our premium hydrofoil and kiteboarding gear with confidence. If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, we offer a straightforward returns and exchanges process to get you back on the water with the right equipment.
Returns & Exchanges Eligibility
You may return or exchange most items within 15 days of receiving your order, provided they meet the following conditions:
- Items must be unused, in original condition, and with all tags attached
- Original packaging must be intact and included
- A copy of your order confirmation or receipt is required
Non-Returnable Items
For safety and hygiene reasons, the following products cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Build A Bar Workshop custom orders (due to personalized configurations)
- Harness Accessories that have been opened or used
- HitchSafe security devices (once activated)
- Any products showing signs of use, wear, or damage
How to Initiate a Return or Exchange
Follow these simple steps to process your return or exchange:
Step 1: Submit Your Request
Email our customer service team at [email protected] with the following information:
Step 2: Receive Authorization
Our team will respond within 1-2 business days with:
- Return authorization (if approved)
- Shipping instructions
- Return mailing address
Step 3: Ship Your Return
Package the item securely in its original packaging and ship to the provided address. We recommend:
- Using a trackable shipping service
- Insuring the package for its full value
- Retaining your shipping receipt until the process is complete
Step 4: Processing Your Return
Once received, our team will inspect the item(s) within 3-5 business days. You’ll receive email notification when:
- Your refund has been processed
- Your exchange is being shipped
- If there are any issues with your return
Refund Information
Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within:
- Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, JCB): 5-10 business days
- PayPal: 3-5 business days
Note: Original shipping fees are non-refundable. For exchanges, we’ll cover standard shipping costs for the replacement item.
Exchange Process
For exchanges, please specify your preferred replacement item in your initial request. We’ll ship your new item once the return is received and approved. If your exchange item is of higher value, we’ll contact you to arrange payment of the difference.
Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective product:
- Contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the damage
- We’ll arrange for a prepaid return label if needed
- Receive a replacement or full refund at no additional cost
International Returns
For customers outside the United States:
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
- Customs fees/duties for returns are non-refundable
- Please mark the package as “Returned Goods” to avoid additional charges
